Champions League 25th Anniversary -

Quarter-Final: Arsenal 2-0 Juventus

The Champions League returns this week and we are celebrating it here at ITV Sport Archive by going through our vault to find some of the best games featuring British clubs since the competition began 25 years ago.

Patrick Vieira was one of Arsenal's most succesful players in his nine years at the club. He won three Premier League titles and four FA Cups, but ahead of the 2005/06 season he moved to Juventus. Just eight months after leaving the Gunners, he returned to Highbury as the two clubs met in the first-leg of their quarter-final tie. On the night he would be upstaged and out played by his heir to the throne, Cesc Fabregas. It was one of the final European nights under the lights at Highbury, and the ITV cameras were there to see it.
